the helper within me
a kernel of Jesus
the Spirit abiding
indwelling within
a helper to guide me
to teach, to protect me
to guide each step
each choice I make
listening to the Spirit
God within me
safe in the journey
even the boundary of death
the gate, the curtain
an end, a beginning
guided through
the boundary of death
the Spirit with us
that kernel of Jesus
the Helper abiding
God indwelling
within our lives
at peace, comfort
on the journey
