A piece of Christ’s love
the beating Spirit
the fire of Pentecost
in the gathered flames upon
us
A spark of God’s grace
burning before us
quickening our hearts
as each name was read
Our saints glowing
burning brightly, ablaze
the light of their faith
shining upon us
Gathered together
here, in worship,
coming before God
in this holy place
All of us part, a candle
of the single flame
the love of God here
shining in our midst
The fire burning brighter
when we share with our
neighbors
the love of God with others
like seeds scattered richly
Into fertile soil
the blessing increasing
sharing God’s message with
them
to the ends of the earth
