his prayer, for anointing
a greater blessing
a double portion
as the eldest son receiving
the mantle of the prophet.
to be the voice
the voice crying -
Make straight His path
align your heart
the Kingdom comes!
the mantle of the prophet
to be the greater servant
to speak these words;
A voice in the desert
the chaos of this world.
