Something magic
in the transformation
a simple meal
bread and grape juice;
but eating this sacrifice,
touching the essence of God
The scent on my fingers
the taste in my mouth
my Risen Lord, Jesus;
transforming the elements
something greater, special,
through Spirit of God
As near as Christ’s blessing
as far as the stars
in remembering that night
when Christ became the
sacrifice;
Christ yet with us
filling our hearts
