feeling alone, abandoned
in my journey, something
missing,
a gaping hole, a loss
she was taken from me
feeling alone, empty
angry at God
wanting her with me
forever, but that was not
the plan of the Creator
my grandmother died when I
was thirteen
a crater remaining, missing,
a hole never filled
