God loves us into Purpose
from the dust, the clay
water of the Spirit
the breath of life;
taking the stuff of the
earth,
changed, giving us birth
God loves us into Purpose
on each step of the journey
into a path preordained;
each day already written
before the creation of the
world
before the beginning of time
God loves us into Purpose
on each step of the journey
into a path God had planned;
each day already written
each life gifted, burdened,
with a sacred purpose of
God.
