a dollop of cold
squeezed from the tube
added to God’s palette
next to the orange
the yellows of sunset
a stroke of Spring
overlaying the winter
the darkness, the cold,
holding on for a time
a bit longer remaining
written on the heaven
in seasons, in colors,
in temperature, changing
breathed by our God
by the hand of the artist
