Do not Worship yourself – v2

Turn from your old life,
holding onto control,
when it is an illusion,
Do not worship yourself,
Surrender your life to God…
 
Confess your whole sin,
your struggles, your battles,
everything you have done,
all the ways you have acted out
separating yourself from God…
 
Admit that you are broken,
that you cannot fix you,
Trust God to heal you
Submit your life and your will
to the one who can save you…
 
Do not worship yourself,
any false idols, the flesh,
Confess to God and others fully,
giving God your whole heart,
all that you are…
 
God loves you, truly,
God chose to create you
even knowing the cost of your sin.
Christ came from heaven.
Christ died to save you,
let Him save you, I pray…
