I died on that cross – v2

my death, my shame,
The debt of my sin
was nailed to the cross
by the grace of God…
 
my soul was saved
on the hill of Golgotha
I died on that cross
when Christ died for me…
 
my body was buried
I was raised on the third day,
the empty tomb
proves I was saved…
 
Christ climbed my cross
but I died with Him
Christ paid my debt
and freed me from sin…
