An exemplar, a model,
a reflection of a nation...
A volunteer, a medic,
One soul in the breach...
 
Iryna, Cheka, One Voice,
cut down by the Moskals...
But a Minute of Silence,
a Moment of Honor would rise...
 
They now gather with her,
with her Mother Oksana...
A band of sisters, a nation,
Join to honor her soul...
 
Every defender is special,
as worthy as she is...
Together they honor -
All who answered the call...
 
A nation rises united
under their one banner...
Songs of the ancient Kobzars,
Singing for their Ukraine...
