never free
always in pain
spun around,
tormented...
holding onto the stones
Chewing on the cud
of our sins,
our transgressions in life...
 
God wants us to come
to be transparent
to speak the truth of sin
to wick them of power...
Shine God’s light
to defeat your shadows
admit, confess,
give them to Your Father...
 
rise, anew, reborn,
A captive released
of pain, of bondage,
able to see your identity
in God, in Jesus
to walk out of shadows,
healed, free,
and redeemed...
