mealy-mouthed language 

empty condemnation 

sharply-worded pablum 

in response to attacks...

after twelve years of war

four years after invasion 

red lines must have consequences 

not empty words...

sharply worded pablum 

is of no meaning...

only arms, sanctions, 

will blunt these attacks...

escalation happens 

when appeasement happens

empty words only foster 

greater attacks...
