followed by echoes
shadows of history
of inheritance, of choice
from the Garden
to this moment
we are wooed from the light...
shadows in our past
of the steps before this step
a burden often in secret
seeking to wick the power
the gifts of light God offers,
the way of Jesus Christ...
shadows haunt us
because we give them power
replacing them in memory
a constant feedback loop...
Step into the light
defeat the shadows
Walk as Jesus walked,
as He calls us...
