God does not want falsehood
going through the motions,
performative art only
when He wants our heart
our whole beings
obedient to His calling
God wants our thanksgiving
our honor and our praise...
 
Too often, we are like them,
the Pharisees, the leaders,
focused on the law, on rule,
on rituals more than worship...
God wants our broken hearts
God calls us to Him,
God desires our whole being
In thanksgiving and praise...
