While he was beginning to flounder
sinking through the skin of the waves
crying out to the Master,
“Lord, save me!”
Immediately, he reached out
to catch his hand
save him when he fell,
captured by doubt
Reaching our in an instant
bringing him to the surface
We too, assured of his hand
ready to reach out
and save us when we fall
when our faith is tested
when we lose focus on God
