As Christ, answering Peter’s cries,
reaching out his hands
lifting him out of the depths
sinking no more
We must reach out God’s hands
our hands to those in need
helping them when they doubt
when life’s troubles
pull them down, away from You;
holding them in God’s arms
sharing His love, for we,
you and I, are God’s hands,
His feet, able to lift them up
so they, like us,
can walk on water
