He was caught
by our savior’s hand
saved when he was sinking
lifted up from the depths,
the deep, by Christ’s hand
bringing him to safety
up onto the buffeted sea
once more able to walk
boldly on the waters
his faith steeled,
by the hand
of our loving brother,
our savior still
