The loaves, the fishes, the feeding of the five thousand
the gathering of the tribes, of the people of the Lord
being fed by his message, his hope,
following where he led, going to where he was
finding him in the wilderness, by the sea, on the mountain
lingering late into the evening, listening at his feed
yearning to hear the master’s voice
A day of hope, a night of blessing
fed by more than fish, more than bread
wonder of heavenly food
shared by grace
with all
