In Human Form

In human form alone
no longer his divinity
Christ here on the earth
walking as lowly man

A servant of the master
the son of the living God
born a child, humble
living in the world

Taking on the yoke of a servant
a slave to the sins of man
Choosing to go to the cross
to fulfill the master’s plan

Ours to follow his example
having the same mind as the Christ
a servant to serve our neighbors
in this we love our God

Humbly continuing his work
following where he has led
our cross, the yoke of our brother
remaining faithful to the end
