The crowd like sheep
mindlessly following
the exhortations of the leaders
stirring them to shout
Not hosannahs,
praises to the king;
calling for his killing
a Jew by Roman hands
Losing their faith
in denying him their loyalty
ignoring the signs
all of the prophecies fulfilled
Like sheep once more
heading to the slaughter
death to the Messiah
crucify him, send him to the cross
