Now as in that moment
when he rose from the waters
all of us commissioned
to continue his holy work
Each of us charged
commissioned for a purpose
to spread the message
God’s message of love
Each of us appointed
anointed with the Spirit
washed in the waters
guided by Christ
Each of us to continue
to continue the work of Jesus
nothing is more important
nothing in the world
