Not something distance
the essence of our Creator
part of us ever
because of our Savior
Living within us
the Spirit indwelling
coursing through our sinew
the stuff of our bodies
the intimacy of God
His presence eternal
going with us
on this journey of life
Walking beside us
yet dwelling within us
offering us a way
to live eternally
Hope in the presence
the oneness with our Master
if we listen to his whisper
calling to us to follow
to go as we are led
out onto the waters
fearing not the wind
focusing on our Brother
