He recorded my name

Long before my birth
God knew me
His purpose, His plan
where He wanted me to serve
my call in this life

He recorded my name
in the book of life
written on His palms
on the stone of God’s heart

He wrote my name
for His purpose, His plan
to share Christ
to proclaim His love
in the book of my life
ever and always
