In the reminiscent moment
Moses taking Joshua
climbing the mountain
Christ and the disciples
under the cloud of God

God speaking
claiming Jesus
firing him holy
steeling his clay
readied for the journey

Before the forty days
the somber journey of Lent
leading us to Jerusalem
to the days of trial
leading to the cross
