Rent My Heart

I rent my heart
torn in the moment
not my clothes
not just the surface
my life torn
my heart rent open
knowing your suffering
dying in my place
An open wound
the fabric of my being
the flesh of my heart
crying for you
knowing your dying
as the sacrifice
your choice to come down
to climb the rugged cross
going in my place
to the cross, the grave
only in your rising
am I truly saved
