Out of Fear

Speaking from their hearts
against cruel choices
petitioning for redress
before the leaders
praying for justice
assistance from their neighbors
because of their need

Crying out
in the seat of power
out of fear speaking
facing devastation
a loss of their freedom
by choices being made
to cut the state budget

and the Governor
to spare those without a voice
those who need us
from the severe budget cuts
that are currently planned
in HB1 and HB2, etc.
