the leaders abandoning
doing what is evil
appeasing our brothers
those standing with us
hate for our neighbors
those who have need
Keeping the excess
the gluttonous profit
the treasures of this world
even at the same table
denying our neighbors
the oppressed, our children
hope dashed in the belief
that greed truly is good
