Reflections on a day set apart
out in Your world
seeking to hear You speaking
a message for our souls
Listening to the wind
the sound of the waters lapping
washing upon the shoreline
the rustle of the leaves,
the call of the birds
The color of the woodlands
changing in this season
feeling the beauty, presence
drawing closer to God
Sharing words together
spending time to write
offering these to You
that they would be
acceptable in Your sight.
