The meaning in our lives
living our lives in vain
without the cross
the sacrifice
the gift of the risen Christ
Different because of the cross
hope in God’s grace
believing in Christ
in the Savior of our lives
the one who was foretold
the babe who became the lamb
dying that I may live
the Son, the great I Am

Carrying My Cross
Yoking myself to my savior
in him is my strength
carrying my cross
following my brother
Picking up my cross
my work on God’s earth
telling the good news of Christ
that all may have new birth
Going where I am called
following where I am led
traveling the way of the cross
in him I find my rest
