Like a jeweler
the potter
with living clay
a glass blower
with new molten glass
an infant with a robin’s egg
gently nestled in its hand
The hands of the living God
holding my life
a soap bubble untrammeled
a snowflake held -
unmelted, undisturbed
in God’s loving hand
