People not of the cross, the grave
we are the ones, rejoicing
dancing on Easter morning
joy comes in the rising,
Not in Christ’s sacrifice alone
atonement yes; but the rising,
our risen Lord and Savior,
living from that moment on the third day
Defeating sin and death,
for all time, eternal
We rise, sing praises to the king,
bow and jump up
with the dawn
The tomb is empty!
The Savior lives!
