While we walk in freedom
the sacrifice of Christ
freeing us from our chains
redeeming us from the lost,
we put others in great danger
young in their faith
seeing us eat the meat of idols
as we walk this earth;
not knowing the meaning
that meat is just meat,
seeing the bad, the dust
the ways of the world
We must stand resolute
courageous to cast this away
rejecting the meat of idols
so others will walk in the way
secure in their understanding
not confused by our words, our actions
walking more fully righteous
that they would not turn right or left
walking ever faithful, purposeful
in the way of the cross
walking aware of who is watching
so none of our brothers would be lost
