Days of Lent
a forty-day season
able to change our lives
if we would let them
Reflecting on Christ’s sacrifice
our savior going to the cross
the real meaning of God’s grace
God’s infinite love
Unworthiness of man
not enough to stop him
choosing to go to Calvary
to seal the ancient breach
Stains of sin from Adam
and those made by each person
all washed away by his blood
at the end of the holy season.
