a curtain of silent thundering rain
So must God’s robe be like
when it filled the temple
the fires of heaven
God’s love raining down
Like shafts of light, woven together;
living bodies, ribbons
knitted into one fabric
sheets of flowing luminous light
Like a wall of falling water
a curtain of silent thundering rain
falling, a river, alive, pooling
so must the hem of his robe have been
Filling His Temple on earth, within our hearts
flowing down from his heavenly throne
down from high above
filling the temple with light
