Living Water, the Stain of His Blood – v4

Our altar this morning draped,
washed in regal shades
brightened by living water,
by the royal stain of His blood, crimson,
vivid shimmering color, textured, flowing
beside the open bible, ancient words illumined
below the brass cross, lighted candles
a foretaste, a living image,
a mere hint of the grandeur,
the hem, the robe of the Creator,
filling Your temple with grace,
with your offering, your gifts
filling us with love
