Puppets of the Sanhedrin

The mob in Benghazi, in Cairo
manipulated, enflamed,
as the puppets of the Sanhedrin
call for Christ to be crucified

The horror of chaos
the gasoline on the fire
the mob an organism
throwing the Molotov cocktail

The fire quickly spreading
the puppeteers far away
judgment will yet come
even to them someday.
