Wisdom’s Voice Silent

We walk away, ignoring Her
Wisdom crying out
Conscience deep within
We turn from Her
from the word of God
failing to follow
to heed this call
Wisdom’s voice silent
when we turn, when we cry
having ignored so long
God’s mercy for us
