Maker of heaven and earth

God alone, the holy one of heaven
our help is in one name
in the name of the Lord
our hope in the world

We call upon that one name
that holy name of God
present with us each breath
each second of our life
from before we were conceived
within our mother’s womb
with us in our joys, our struggles
our strength in our walk
protection in the storm

God alone, the holy one of heaven
our hope, our trust, is in one name
in the name of the Lord
our help in the world
