on the beach
early
morning, effortless
no
time to sleep
walking
barefoot
above
the waves,
below
the dunes
sand
stinging
in
the morning breeze
with
a cup of coffee
black,
piping hot
in
the ceramic mug
deep
fall colors
on
its sides
walking
barefoot
