I Hate You
His pain overwhelmed
in this place of sin
reeling, unspoken
nowhere to begin
The floodgates opened
the rage inside
the bile flowing
directed at God
Shouting, cursing
the torrent within
yelling, “I hate you!”,
to our sovereign king
