where are you – v2
“where are you”,
his challenge, his cry
feeling alone
no presence of God
not trusting, yet believing
in the sovereign God
But hurting, believing
evil stalks the world
“where are you”,
he cried, in the darkness
wanting to confront
to judge our king
fool-hardy, angry
forgetting his place
yet longing for answers
the rage to abate.
