the intensity of the present – v2

the crucible of now
the intensity of the present
between the past and the future
living life now

the intensity of the future
bound by worry and waiting
forgetting God’s provision
and Christ’s promise to come again

let go of that baggage
the whipsaw of history
let go of the past
to breathe free

strive for the future
unburdened by worry
God will provide
as he always has
