to be ready for the seed

to be the good soil
to be ready for the seed
we must nurture, cherish
the hearts that are in our care
those who are searching
those who are yet resistant
given to us for a purpose
to prepare seeking hearts
to be ready for the seed
the gift of God’s love
to be ready to embrace
the seeds given to us
to love the seeds
the message of God’s gifts
the grace poured upon us
the blessings in all of this
