Our lives, our bodies
our stones come together
together one body
many stones, many gifts
many souls aligned
building God’s temple
holy, a home for us
building, ready
building in our hearts
Living stones, joined
together
alive, merging, becoming one
odd and misshapen
chipped and damaged
like threads of multi-colors
woven into your image
living stones building
the foundation, the walls,
of Your temple, Your holy
church
We are each, as we are, the
bricks,
the stones, the body, the
mortar
the branches on the vine
the living body of Christ
Living stones working out
our own faith journeys
accepting His invitation
joining with the others
to walk with God
