Christ met me there – v3

Christ met me there
lost, confused
wandering into your church
crying as I was
sitting in the pew

In the pit of my sin
anguish washing o’er me
estranged from God
nothing I could do
nothing I could give

Christ met me there
simply, completely,
more than I can comprehend
what it meant, truly,
that He could descend

Choosing the cross
to become clay
empty of eternity
dying so I may live
preparing a way

No Price for His Love

More than we can truly understand
that there is no price for his love
God freely giving
all that I ever need
even going to the cross for me
paying my cost with his life
the lamb, my brother
no price do I owe
but my humble praise
turning, conforming my life to him
in thanksgiving to my king
