That none would know hunger – v7

A prayer for the age, for our time

That the world would be at peace

that no one would be without water

that none would know hunger

oppression, or struggle

starvation forgotten

Praying on this day

for a change to come about

all the world’s people

acting as one, united

to offer their abundance

giving from the heart

That none would know hunger

each of us doing our part

that sharing would become common

not hording our gifts, our treasure stored up

in ever larger silos, rotten

that the world would be guided

by compassion, by love
