God sharing with us in shadows
something of the mystery
not in the visible, the static
the physical world, alone
something wondrous, beyond
in the shadows, the hidden shapes
elongated at morning, at dusk
whispers of the infinite
to stop and linger, to touch
to look more deeply in shadows
beckoning us further
we people of dust
