our continuing calling
to be sharing, loving
sowing our seeds
scattering some more widely
but for some water
watering other seeds
already scattered
by others in the field
in the vineyard before us
joining in the work
in the field, the vineyard
our continuing calling
but to be faithful
to be filled, to be emptied
to be poured on creation;
sharing in the work
of God’s kingdom.
