two prayers we lift up
most often, when we are
honest
thinking first of ourselves
then others, in their season
praying, “help me, help me,
help me”,
when we are despairing
praying, “thank you, thank
you, thank you”,
when something goes our way
too often this is the ending
nothing else within our
prayers
not thinking of any others
not listening in prayer.
