They are working in God’s
vineyard
Bringing Word, his word
a Good News, a gospel
to the masses, the sheep of
their flock
Like water in the desert
week on week, in the
reading,
synthesized meaning in small
bites
of the ancient text
Knitted with their history
and ours too, we know,
so we can comprehend
that we might understand
the deeper meanings
lessons even still,
for our lives today
